Istanbul Airport Projects
IGA was established on October 7, 2013 to build and operate the Istanbul Airport for 25 years. Istanbul Airport is 35 kilometers from the city center and rises to an area of 76.5 million square meters in the north of Istanbul. The construction is planned to be completed in four phases. Within the first phase, there are 2 runways and a terminal building with a capacity of 90 million passengers. When all phases are completed, Istanbul Airport will provide flights to more than 300 destinations with an annual capacity of 200 million passengers.
